Marianne is a Charge nurse in a children’s hospital in Mali. This is her story.
As a head nurse in Mali, Marianne has the same work environment and responsibilities that she had working in France: organising services, risk management and participating in committees to tackle hospital-acquired infections, as well as working with multi-disciplinary teams. She believes that managing and developing teams for long term improvement is also an important aspect of the role.
